Nearly all manufacturers require annual maintenance records for warranty services. Aside from that, regular maintenance can help you avoid sudden shutdowns in peak season, this is especially important if your equipment is above 10 years old. As most companies only warranty their parts for 10 years; after which the risk of part failure increases, we check for possible issues by measuring amperage draw.
In the case of outdoor equipment such as a split Air Conditioner most common in residential homes in the GTA, they can clough and or potential leaks due to various reasons such as ice falling from soffit over time. Which is why its important to have the top of you’re A/C covered during off seasons.
Included in your annual Maintenance Agreement for Furnaces and Air Conditioners:
A thorough check up of wearable parts, such as capacitors, valves, compressors and orifices.
Cleaning as per manufacturer’s instructions.
Includes 1 filter change for Furnace maintenance.
Any Diagnosis done on units, (e.g. A one time service fee to do diagnostics is $170/visit, however once you maintain your units with us, any time something goes wrong we will stop by and figure out what the issue is at no additional cost)
Minor fixes, such as clogged pipes, etc., (which would be prevented through annual maintenance).
Please note, the annual maintenance plan does not cover the cost of parts/materials (e.g. refrigerant) and the labour to change them. However, you will receive labour warranty on the item changed or new installations.
